Attendees at the 2022 Tall Ships Festival in the Northland will face many changes this year. It really was lovelyand they have a bar on board! This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. Music, drinks and views but its better to go on Harbour Hopper instead. Would have expected maybe a guided vocal tour of what we were seing as we sailed. Having owned a sailboat, I think the idea is to have wind so the sails will work. This includes ships on the Halifax side and the Dartmouth side. 
This was the best part of our Trip. The CBC Main Stage, located in the Salter Street Lot, features free music and entertainment. Fun to see sails and learn Silva is way ahead of her time since she was designed with auxiliary sails to save on fuel costs. No memories , sail was canceled due to mechanical issues and weather. As far as the commentary goes - we recently updated our tour (and website description) and did away with the commentary - this was a result of more and more that guests letting us know that they did not want to hear it. 
I love tall ships and it did not disappoint at all. Only thing that messed us up was the location for pick up was cable wharf and our paper said in front of marine museum so we almost missed the cruise! Helped that the weather was outstanding. So we putted around Halifax Harbor, not the most scenic place. Would have liked to hear about the harbor and the history. Now she can help save our planet by reducing emmissions! 
All in all, boring and pretty much a rip off. They couldnt refund my money directly . Two of the ships will be open for tours at the Portsmouth Fish Pier Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. However I do not know when they will be back after next year.
